Very cool
That was fun. Some of it was very clever.
bagels and orange juice, accompanied by soothing jazz and a white background
that sounds delightful.

Mmmm, glad you enjoyed your two dimensional snacks. :]
Really close to being good
It was almost good, but there were some problems. Let's start out with the good:
Introduction. The animation in the beginning was probably the best part. This is a game though.
Grapnics: James the Zebra has always had a nice style, and the grapnics and animation are really good. But again, that's not what a game is supposed to be about.
The bad:
The Music, it really not good at all. Next game make the music better, and add a little more variety.
Speed: Too slow. It felt like my computer was making it lag, so I set it down to low quality. However, that shouldn't be happening because my computer is pretty high quality, so if this was the problem, you guys have some serious file size issues, and should seriously consider fixing that for your next game.
Platforming: Even if it was faster, there just wasn't enough variety. Sure, platformers are just run and jump, but there were no ramps, springs, powerups, attacks, double-jumping, or anything that could have added some spice to the platforming other than the net climbing, which just felt kind of like a chore. These games could really be a lot better if you guys just spent a little more time trying to make it more fun to play. The game really felt like a chore. it was slow, and all you could do was run, jump, climb, and collect the coins, which really isn't fun at all. Please consider this stuff for your next game, because you clearly possess the skills to make some really great flash games, like you have in the past. If it's not fun, don't release it, fix it up and make sure it's a game you, and everyone else will most likely be happy with. Thanks, and seriously think about this constructive criticism for your next game.
I guess the James series is less about making epic innovative games and more about refining the art of making simple arcadey-feeling games.
I understand that if its running slow that can really ruin the experience
